These are graphics distributed by major resistance groups in NYC and Massachusetts. While we were all certainly hoping for a massive blue wave followed by a peaceful transition, we were ready for anything. Some of the language was designed to avoid censorship, hence the talk of "party" to mean "resistance to forceful overthrow of the election."
We were all ready to go lay down our lives to defend the result, which has surely played a role in the regime's acquiescence to reality.

My bridge troll crew didn't set a schedule for November because we weren't sure if we'd be partying or taking to the streets in a much less cheerful way (although I think we still would have brought the music, knowing us).

For those saying 'it won't change anything. Yes it will. Not as much as if he's out but we'll be in a position to block everything at every turn.

On July 23, Washington and Beijing signed the same APEC statement backing open-source AI. That same week, both were weighing ways to restrict it.
Why are the two countries most responsible for open-weight models also the most likely to clamp down on them?

The "Education" minister would like to ban any education that does not confirm to the status quo of a vassal state...
"Education Minister announced last Friday that under the draft legislation, the maximum fine for universities will increase from the existing cap of $40,000 to $2 million – a 50-fold increase."

Trump-endorsed Republican Victoria #Spartz, who moved from Ukraine to Indiana at 21 and became the first Ukrainian-born member of #Congress, lost her seat last night. In 2024 she voted against Ukraine aid when Russia was bombing the region she grew up in. She also said Ukraine can’t demand to keep all its land.

Can we please give a HUGE shout out to Stacey Abrams? She worked and fought and organized and created the foundation for the important win by Keisha Lance Bottoms to become the first female and first Black governor in Georgia's history, as well as the first Black female governor in the US.
