Today I got my official diagnosis. Asperger's syndrome, at 31. My feelings about it are mixed. For years I was sure this was not about me, that I was just tired, or difficult, or not trying hard enough. Then about a year ago I hit an autistic burnout, the kind where you cannot pretend anymore, and I started digging into myself for real. Now there is a piece of paper that says what I had slowly started to suspect. Part of me feels relief, because so many things finally make sense. Another part of me keeps rereading my whole past with this new filter, and that part is not so calm. HELP! PLEASE BOOST URGENTLY FOR ME! Argh! Just when I think I'm making headway, the bank has been slow to take out payments and as a result I'm overdrawn🥺I feel stupid for not checking closer. Ok, I think this one is a stretch, but I have to ask. Are you an #autistic / #AuDHD bald man in the northern hemisphere, who wears a hat indoors as the weather moves towards winter? I know everyone is different, but pls, recommend a comfy, not too warm hat that my sensory sensitivities can cope with. I live in Scotland, so has to be something I can easily get here or online from a UK/ EU based retailer. Looking for #disabled people who want a friendship and someone who doesn't mind me popping into their DMs regularly. In terms of #disabilities, I have juvenile #lupus and kidney failure which is a result of it. I also have #LongCovid, #diabetes, #cerebralpalsy, #AuDHD, #osteoporosis, and a slew of #mentalhealth diagnoses. I use oxygen, 24/7 oxygen user due to Long Covid as well as a full time wheelchair user. A boost would mean alot. #introduction #newhere

Now that I finally settled down on this new instance, I am in the right headspace to write a proper introduction. Hi, I'm Mikka and my pronouns are he/him. I am transmasc, pan, poly and on the ace-spectrum, maybe demisexual. I'm kinda kinky, more dom-leaning and also a puppy (there will be a separate account soon). But living my life to the fullest extend that I would like to, requires a lot more energy than I currently have, due to multiple disabilities. Someone in my friend group joked around that the ICD-10 isn't a Pokédex, but my body has a different opinion about that. Some of the things I "collected" are the following: AuDHD, depression, LongCOVID, ME/CFS, POTS, MCAS and the final diagnosis of PTSD or cPTSD is still pending. Before I became disabled, I was an optician and working in those shops was so much fun! Unfortunately, I can't work anymore. But I can still do some of my hobbies, especially the textile arts. I mostly knit, do cross stitch and make bobbin lace. As I wrote earlier, I am a puppy and because of my hobbies, he has the name Stitch. The only reason I found my way into the pup community was @cookie_blue@bark.lgbt The topics I might write about might be kink in general, a bit of puppy stuff, thoughts I need to vent somewhere and in general about the intersection of queerness and disability.
