Which IMO that's a VERY apt assessment on Nick's par, the Dems are effectively just better Republicans. The Dems STILL are not all aligned on eliminating ICE and many of them probably are OK with tariffs so long as it's not Trump suggesting it. If you are not progressive left — which is the only way we save this country — I don’t want to hear from you anymore. I will vote progressively or not at all. It is not up for debate or discussion. Andy Beshear himself claims he has received reports of Mitch McConnell's passing (death). But the goal of the Republican party is to drag this out until August 2, 2026, to prevent a special election. Kentucky Governor and Democratic moderate centrist Andy Beshear could challenge this status quo right now and call for an election. There is nothing stopping him. But like all moderate centrists, all he is doing is pointing and saying, "See, see, look what they're doing," but without doing anything to stop them. Moderate centrists act more like Republican conservative publicists and commentators at a sporting event, expecting us all just to look and watch, but do nothing. People don't want to people-watch (or bird-watch) along with you. If knowing what they're doing or not knowing still gets us in the same place with the same results, there is no point in electing moderate centrists. You want real change and accountability?
