RE: https://eupolicy.social/@bert_hubert/117013610570019972 "define beforehand what you expect it to achieve and measure whether it actually does. Because “it felt good” simply isn’t enough. More on that later." It is so tempting to just go with the flow. And so dangerous IMHO, for the product and also for our (skill) development. Why? Because we are driven and not driving anymore. Clicking "yes" or turn on yolo mode is much faster (compared to yesterday). #ai #pattern

AI: Considerations for people who make decisions. There is enormous pressure to deploy AI, and if you believe the LinkedIn thought leadership, you'd think that if you don't get on board NOW you'll be lost forever. Meanwhile other people severely detest AI, so much so that it damages their (worthwhile) arguments against it. Below, thoughts on what to do now, and what things might best be postponed. Finally, some stimulating words on what we actually DO at the office: https://berthub.eu/articles/posts/ai-for-decision-makers/

Today I discovered Mathpolate, which has a graphpaper generator for asymetric graph paper — https://mathpolate.com/graph/asymmetric

If you #knit, this can be very helpful! You can print graph paper which matches your gauge.

Si vous #tricot ez, c'est très utile! Vous pouvez imprimer du papier graphique qui correspond à votre jauge.

I can’t claim that my notebooks have been used by Picasso and the like, but I can guarantee that the covers are 100% human illustrated and the product photography was shot in my actual garden that exists. (No, really!) If you like what you see, check out my wee shoppe 🦝 https://www.emseeitch.com/shop #stationery #pattern #wildlifeillustration #surfacepatterndesign

When pressed against a sufficiently-pliant surface, the retractable tines make a pleasing hole pattern, the same sort of pattern one will see over many industrial or toy speakers, where the speaker cover is integrated into the body of the larger item, such as the speaker holes for emergency communications on an elevator control pad. 2/x #pattern #holes #sharp

Attached: 1 image @Merri@olifant.fi @kaisla@eliitin-some.fi Tuossa olis nyt ainakin alkuun jotain pienempiä versioita. Enimmäkseen kahta sävyä, kokeilin noihin pariin emblemiin myös kolmatta. Dotpictistä sain tällaisen näyttökuvan ruudukolla. (public domain)
