Due to the media blackout, even I didn't know until just now that Pussy Riot, the Russian female anti-Putin protestors, have been taking part in anti-ICE demonstrations in the US since last year. They just recently protested alongside US activists at 7 different concentration camp locations.
Especially since all roads lead to #Putin, I love to see this kind of international solidarity.

To be serious, this is wonderful news. We can all remember a past when utter nonsense like this would never have come to a vote. We must all fixate on a future that (relatively) sane.
Obviously, defeating #Putin in #Ukraine is the most important hurdle in front of that goal. That's where all this shit comes from.
As for sane people in Alberta, well done. I am from a red state in the US and I feel your pain.
