Manifesting Optimism
When enough people
collectively decide
to turn away from
the despair that
welcomes defeat,
instead embracing
the fires of rage
that burn away
the sabotage that
caused destruction
and push back
the chaos that
prevented repairs,
they strike a spark
to rebuild hope
one voice
one seat
one vote
one wave
at a time.

When the election results are so good, you have to reschedule your poem and whip up a new one to suit the moment. 😅
A little support goes a long way. If you’d like to help me keep creating, consider buying me a Ko-Fi!

One of my short videos went viral, with over 10,000 views and 800 shares, but donations remain very small. Imagine if every person donated just $1.
We can do better.
That’s why we need every possible voice and platform. Awareness alone is not enough these days. The people of the Gaza Strip need real action and food. 💔🙏❤️🩹

This is dinner for my four children. 💔 There is no cooking gas, no vegetables, and no healthy food. Even the bread gets burnt while being baked over an open fire. And all this is happening while the sound of surveillance drones terrifies us. 😔
🙏 Please help us buy food. We are desperate for your support. ❤️🩹

The scene repeats itself, and the tragedy never ends.
This morning, in front of one of the bread distribution points on the outskirts of Khan Yunis,
they all returned to their children empty-handed, without a single loaf of bread.

We’re back to eating lentils and canned beans again. For over a week now, the markets have seen a sharp rise in the prices of goods
especially food, and some items have disappeared from the shelves… My little brother has stopped eating lunch; he eats only bread. He says, without realizing it, “The war is over—why are we eating lentils?” I feel sorry for him and for every little child in Gaza who has never seen a good day since he was born.

4 days without donations 💔
Recently, some goods have disappeared from the shelves, while the prices of others have risen sharply.
Unfortunately, we were forced to buy some of them on credit because we couldn’t afford them. We need your donations and contributions to pay off these debts.
Please don’t forget to support us.

e are here in Gaza, still trying to survive amid all this pain.💔 Will you help me and give me a little hope, or will you ignore my story and leave me to face all of this alone? 🙏🏼

Sometimes I imagine what would happen to the people of Gaza without GoFundMe. 💔
So many families now depend on these donations for almost every aspect of their lives. Gaza is struggling to survive, with families fighting every day just to provide the most basic necessities for their children. There is so little security, so little hope for the future, and so much suffering.
Please, don’t abandon us in these heartbreaking circumstances. 🙏 Your support means more than words can express. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has stood beside us during the hardest moments of our lives.
If you can donate, please do. If you cannot, sharing our campaign could help us reach someone who can.

Good morning,
We only have 4 days left, and we’ve only raised 20 euros so far.
The rent for the land is 200 euros. Please help me.
Share my plea—don’t let my voice be silenced. Spread the word to everyone.

Hello, friends. I’d like to remind you that my family still needs 180 euros to pay this month’s rent.
We only have 6 days left. We need your support. Please help us by donating and sharing this post. Thank you.

Urgently. Please read this.
We owe 4 months rent for the land our tent sits on — $150/month. The owner is threatening to evict us. In Gaza. With nowhere to go.
A kind friend covered one month. I still need $450 in the next 48 hours.
$450 is the difference between having ground under our tent — or nothing.
I have never been this scared of losing what little we have left.
Please donate any amount :

💔 To all my friends and everyone who stood by me on Mastodon...
When my brother Diaa's suffering first began, so many kind-hearted people stood with us and shared our plea. I will never forget your compassion and support.
Today, his condition is more critical than ever, and I can't help but ask with a heavy heart: why has his plea stopped reaching people? Why have the shares become so few when he needs them the most?
I sincerely ask everyone who stood with us in the beginning to stand with us once again. Even if you cannot donate, simply sharing this appeal could help it reach someone who can save my brother's life.
Please don't let Diaa face this battle alone. We are still holding on to hope, and we need your support now more than ever. 🙏💔

Thank you to the anonymous person who donated on my behalf... May God bless you, reward you with good, and may you always be a helping hand for others.
Yes, my friends, we still need 180 euros to cover the rest of the rent.
Remember that even a small contribution helps my family.
Please share this widely, spread the word about my plea, and pray for me.

Today was my daughter Maha’s birthday. ❤️🩹🎂
I wished with all my heart that I could make her happy, buy her some of the things she needs, and give her even a small moment of joy. But sadly, the day passed without receiving a single donation.
As a mother, it breaks my heart to watch my daughter grow up surrounded by war, loss, and deprivation, while I cannot even give her a small birthday gift. 💔
Today, I’m asking you to please stand with us and support us. Any donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference for our family. And if you cannot donate, please share my campaign. Your share may reach someone who can help us.
Please help me give Maha back even a small part of the beautiful things she has been deprived of. 🙏❤️
