Day 285 #365project Aled has given me whatever bug he had so I didn't get out much today. Managed to go out for a few minutes at dusk and this is the best I got today. Now for tea with honey and some rest. ☕ #Cymru #Wales #NorthWales #Porthmadog #stonecottage #cottagecore #moody #twilight #bluehour #welshcottage #charming #rustic #autumn #autumnal #autumncolours #fallfoliage #autumnvibes #fallvibes #window #Fenster #windows #fensterfreitag #atmospheric #photography #Fotografie #amateurphotography

Coming close to the mosaic window decorations at Konstnärshuset in Stockholm. Usually seen from below at the street, as in this wikimedia image: https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konstn%C3%A4rshuset#/media/Fil:Konstn%C3%A4rshuset_01.JPG The three muses representing painting, architecture and sculpting, is created by Gottfrid Kallstenius. The tiles is made at the Vatican lime stone factory in Rome. #mosaic #art #Jugend #artnoveau #window

River >>> Everything else.

i3 is way too barebones. Also it's not as extensible as KDE. Also it's strictly tiling, while most ppl prefers stacking and/or floating WMs.

Also, it's tainted:

This is very random but please boost: Can someone in Bodø lend me a handle to change the direction of opening the window? Where I am staying the window only tilts a bit, it is way too hot and I need fresh air. The receptionist told me that they are not allowed to give me the handle despite there being no children and no drunk people in the room. I already travel with a Swiss Army knife to unscrew some types of window limiters (yes I do screw them back in before leaving) but do not have the thing used here (a square prism rod perhaps 6mm wide). #bodø #norway #travel #window #lock #windowLimiter

Rounded Corners Sketchbook April – May 2026 https://britthub.co.uk/rounded-corners-sketchbook-april-may-2026/ This is actually only one of two sketchbooks I filled during April and May. The other one has a lot more pages so may take a little longer to scan in. I then have two full sketchbooks for June and July so far, I’ve started another and it’s only just over half way through the […] #Sketchbook #alien #nutella #pencil #pineapple #sketches #window #artistsonmastodon #illustration #creativeToots

In my own Quest to Survive, my #kitchen has been the nerve-centre of designing/creating/building/modifying things to help me stay alive through the crisis of the moment, as well as as more obvious ongong crises such as extreme heat, terrible air quality, etc. In some cases, #OffTheShelf technology to mitigate an issue exists, but (for example) both #poverty and #lease requirements prevent me from acquiring energy-efficient cooling technology. Even if I pay 100% of the cost of buying and installing a #window #AirConditioner, it means a breach of lease and possible #eviction. Given that I'm pretty sure I would not survive many days of being #unhoused (due to #MedicalConditions and #disability-management challenges, not due to any fellow unhoused neighbours), I have worked very hard to figure out other ways to mitigate heat in my unit. 8x #mitigations #experiements #SelfHelp #tenancy
