Would this not work both ways? #Canada would impose #EU style #Tariffs on #US #Trade. Starting with EU style DST and everything else like GDPR non-compliance and Digital Markets Act (DMA), Anti-Steering Provisions, and other antitrust laws. And health and safety regulation on goods. It would be simpler. Same tariffs minus the transatlantic crossing.

Belarus is the country on #Ukraine's northern border, land-locked (making shipping exponentially more difficult) and allied with #Putin. Protest Thread #127: The (justified) rage of the truckers! As I've said on here before, at early protests in 2025 the truck drivers were split 50/50 on us-- probably along racial lines, given the teamster endorsements in 2024. At yesterday's bridge protest, it was unbelievably loud. New US tariffs go into effect today for Canadian products but they're *lifting* tariffs off certain products like salt, sugar, concrete… Hey Cdn Gov, they're *telling us* what their sensitive items/sectors are! We just need to slap punitive export tariffs on those things to increase the pain on the US gov until they see sense on the trade front. #tariffs #UStradeWar
